Do you have a dream germinating inside of you?
A passion you have a hard time even defining?
Do people step back a bit when they first meet you, because they didn’t expect someone so…passionate, so alive?
Or you have a quiet, burning intensity deep, deep inside you. Everything you do today is colored by the passion smoldering in your heart. It is so much a part of your core being that it is a scary prospect to even verbalize it.
Days and months go by, with a question mark over that dream and an ellipsis where you feel life trailed off just a bit…
Be encouraged: God never wastes passion.
That passion He has woven into your being is divinely placed. Those feelings you have are created by God.
A wise friend of mine once shared, “God is preparing you for what He has prepared for you.”
If God planted passion deep in your heart, it’s because He has a plan to use it. Be assured that nothing in your life, no emotion in your soul, no thought in your mind, no feeling in your heart, is a surprise to your Creator.
“O Lord, all my longing is before you; my sighing is not hidden from you.” Psalm 38:9
Live in the confidence today that God never wastes passion.
