How do you hear “Well done, good and faithful servant” at the end of your life?
You hear it at the end of this morning.
At the end of this afternoon.
At the end of this day.
And the next.
And the next.
There are seasons of life when it’s not about making it through the day—it’s about making it through the moment.
When we had three kids four years old and under, I kept “Just make it to the next sleep cycle” as my mantra.
Do the next thing.
Do the next [right] thing.
And at the end of doing that right thing, listen for a whispered “Well done.” Then move on to the next right thing.
“I have but one passion: It is He, it is He alone.
